An exhibition of the works of four female artists exploring motherhood, art, politics, contemporary life and society.
Opening night guest speaker: Anita West has built a sustainable art career over 25 years whilst raising a family and understands the extra commitment and dedication needed.
She shares her experiences to pursue creative endeavours amongst the backdrop of caring for children.
About the Artists:
Candice Herne describes herself as a Pop artist who uses advertising materials, technology and everyday mundane objects to highlight the ordinary elements of culture.
Katrina Stirling combines paint, ink, collage and poetry to comment on social environments.
Sandra Landolt is a Kinetic sculptor and Video Artist who makes art that contains moving parts, generally powered by wind, motor or the viewer.
Chrys Zantis creates installations using sculptured knitting and materials.
Workshops and Activities
Mums and Bubs workshop (children of all ages welcome)
Wednesdays Oct 12 & 19. FREE (Self paced activity between 11am to 2pm)

Animation Workshop with Sandra Landholt
Saturday November 5. 1.00 – 3.30pm $20.00
Join video artist Sandra Landholt and learn how to create a stop start animation using free animating software, basic materials such as found and recycled objects and a webcam. Students will make a CD of their animation.
